John Tyler Bonner
(1920-2019)
John Tyler Bonner was a professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. He pioneered in the use of cellular slime molds to understand evolution and development.
He published numerous articles and fourteen books , including the classics
The Evolution of Complexity by Means of Natural Selection,
On Development: The Biology of Form, and
The Cellular Slime Molds.
